Poppy Signs Ltd are a highly successful, fast growing, independently owned family company providing an extensive portfolio of products and services including vehicle wrapping and graphic application, bespoke signage, graphic design services and large format printing. Due to a new contract, we are looking for an experienced sales estimator within the large format & signage industry.
About the role:
- Building up relationships with customers both new and existing, meeting clients on site to assess signage requirements, creating and following up quotations and processing orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Liaising with the in-house design team and production department to find the best solutions to meet the requirements of the projects and supporting the whole team in the day-to-day operations.
- Helping to create standardised customer quotes using in house CRM.
- Supporting the business as it grows, to develop and implement solutions to improve productivity and profitability.
- Dealing with all customer queries and issues.
- Making pro-active calls to existing and lapsed customers to develop business and build relationships.
- Liaising with suppliers to keep up to date with prices and discussing new materials and developments in the industry.
About you:
- Proven experience in the Sign industry or in a similar sales, account manager or sales administration role.
- Good understanding of signage fabrication and assembly.
- Good knowledge of printing materials and substrates.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, excellent organisational skills, strong time management skills and a great team player ethos.
- Proficient at using quoting software such as Clarity, Microsoft 365 and design programs such as Flexisign, Photoshop etc would be advantageous but not essential.
- High level of commercial awareness.
- Enthusiastic about finding solutions to produce interesting and high quality bespoke signage and graphics.
