Trade Sales Manager / Administrator | Cranfield, Bedfordshire | £30,000–£32,000

Role: Trade Sales Manager Location: Cranfield, Bedfordshire (site-based) Salary: £30,000–£32,000 gross per annum (DOE) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm Start: ASAP

An established Aviation business based in Cranfield is seeking a capable and customer-focused Trade Sales Manager to join its team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting trade customers across the UK and internationally, covering customer service, order processing, invoicing and day-to-day sales administration.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Development Director, Retail Sales Manager, Finance Manager and factory and dispatch teams, ensuring customers receive an efficient and professional service throughout the order process.

Key Responsibilities

• Take customer calls and respond to incoming emails and enquiries.
• Process customer orders and returns.
• Process and file GBP, EUR and USD invoices and credit notes.
• Liaise with the Business Development Director regarding upcoming trips, customers being visited and the status of their accounts.
• Process orders and invoices resulting from on-site sales.
• Liaise with the Retail Sales Manager regarding orders and customer queries.
• Manage the Cranfield shop as and when required.
• Liaise with the factory and dispatch teams regarding pending orders. Contact customers with order and delivery updates.
• Liaise with the Finance Manager regarding accounts on stop.
• Support the international pilot shop network. Support marketing activity to trade customers.

Candidate Requirements

• Confident using Microsoft Office.
• Accounts software experience useful.
• Full driving licence.
• Excellent telephone manner and customer communication skills.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Organised, accurate and able to manage a varied workload.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-sufficient and comfortable working independently.
