A warm and welcoming family based in Queen’s Park are seeking an experienced, Spanish-speaking Rota Nanny to care for their two children, a four-month-old boy and a six-year-old girl. This is a live-out position operating on a one-week-on, one-week-off rota, with working hours from 7:00am to 7:00pm during on weeks. The role also includes up to two nights of babysitting per week when on rota, though this is not always required.

Responsibilities

  • Care for two children: a four-month-old boy and a six-year-old girl, including feeding, sleep routines for the baby, and supporting the older child’s morning and after-school routines.
  • Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups as required.
  • Plan and accompany age-appropriate activities and outings; encourage learning through play; support homework as needed.
  • Handle nursery duties related to the children, including laundry and general organisation of their spaces.
  • Manage day-to-day routines independently and communicate with parents regularly.
  • Speak Spanish with both children to support bilingual development.
  • Willingness to travel with the family up to six weeks per year during holiday periods.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Spanish is essential; ability to speak Spanish naturally with children.
  • Experience as a nanny with infants and school-aged children; warm, calm, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently, be proactive in managing the day, and maintain clear communication with parents.
  • Flexible start date; ASAP or flexible start dates.
