A private family based in Notting Hill is seeking an experienced Nanny/Governess to support the care and academic development of their two school-aged children. The role will primarily focus on overseeing homework, supporting the children’s studies, and ensuring they remain academically on track. You will assist with exam preparation where appropriate and maintain communication with the children’s schools and teachers in order to address any areas requiring additional support. Both children attend leading private schools locally.
A candidate with a PGCE, teaching qualification, or strong tutoring background would be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a Nanny/Governess within a private household and be confident supporting children across different learning styles and abilities.
During school holidays the schedule will increase to more full-time hours (approximately 10 hours per day), and the role will include up to six weeks of international travel per year. This is a rewarding position for a highly organised, educationally focused Nanny/Governess who enjoys working closely with children on a one-to-one basis and supporting their academic progress.
