We are looking for an experienced Housekeeper who can work independently to maintain a private property in Chiswick, West London. The contracted hours of work are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work the occasional weekend day with notice. Travel to the family’s secondary residence in France for up to 10 days 1-2 times per year will be required.
You will be working for a private family who have young children, so you must be child friendly; experience caring for children and willingness to babysit on occasion is a requirement. You will oversee the organisation and cleanliness of the property, whilst also being the main point of contact for any contractors/tradesmen. You must be experienced in running a household for a private family. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience working independently within a household, and be highly proactive and organised. Interviewing now, start date flexible.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Laundry and ironing
- Making beds and changing linen
- Co-ordinating items for dry cleaning/drop off and collections
- Occasional babysitting
- Occasional assistance when the family have events
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have 5+ years working as a Housekeeper within a private household
- Have a valid passport
- Hold the rights to work within the UK
- Have excellent contactable references
- Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS certificate
