Our Clients are seeking an experienced, positive and active Estate Gardener to work on a full-time basis at their large Household Grounds near Henley-on-Thames.
As an experienced gardener, you will be carrying out a range of horticultural activities such as:
- Planting summer and winter beds
- Maintaining hedges
- Turf maintenance
- Weed spraying
- Weeding
- Leafing
You will ensure green waste is disposed of in line with household policy and waste management regulations. You will have excellent planting and pruning knowledge, seasonal planning abilities, and be used to carrying out all general regular lawn cutting, weeding and blowing duties. You will also be used to handling large machinery and have appropriate licences.
Your role covers all aspects of environmental services and grounds maintenance, and you’ll enjoy working in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions. Working alongside the House Manager, you will be able to manage your workload independently and proactively, and able to anticipate Client requirements.
Basic computer skills and administrative abilities are valuable in order to provide feedback on daily & weekly progress, and prepare simple budgets. Given a permanent contract with full working benefits, you would work 5 days per week Monday-Friday (08:00-17:00) and report to the Household Manager.
Candidates should be able to drive and live within commuting distance of Henley-on-Thames. Only those with experience working for UHNW Households Families can be considered.
