A warm, welcoming family in South Kensington is looking for a kind, gentle, and experienced nanny to care for their two young daughters in the afternoons. This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys building close bonds – the girls are affectionate, love cuddles, and are full of imagination. Right now, their playroom has been transformed into an “airplane,” and they spend happy hours as air stewardesses.
Your afternoons will include collecting the children from their day, preparing and serving a healthy dinner, encouraging tidy-up time, and leading fun, creative activities. A strong cook would be highly valued, and anyone happy to prepare a little extra for the parents would be a real bonus. Light nursery duties are part of the role, and the family’s home is tidy and well-organised.
The hours are fixed during term time, but there’s flexibility during school holidays – whether that means longer days, occasional travel, or helping cover for the family’s other nanny, or keeping the hours consistent if preferred. Their current nanny has been with them since the girls were born, and they are equally looking for a long-term commitment from the right person.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who would love to become a trusted, long-term presence in the girls’ lives.
French speakers are highly advantageous.
