Overview
A warm, welcoming family in South Kensington is looking for a kind, gentle, and experienced nanny to care for their two young daughters in the afternoons. This is a lovely role for someone who enjoys building close bonds – the girls are affectionate, love cuddles, and are full of imagination. Right now, their playroom has been transformed into an “airplane,” and they spend happy hours as air stewardesses.
Responsibilities
- Afternoon care for two young daughters (collect from day, prepare and serve a healthy dinner, encourage tidy-up time)
- Lead fun, creative activities and imaginative play
- Light nursery duties; keep the home tidy and well-organised
- Cook meals; a strong cook would be highly valued
- Occasional travel or longer days during school holidays if required
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience caring for toddlers/preschool-aged children; warm, patient, and able to build trust
- Flexible with hours during school holidays; long-term commitment preferred
- French speakers are highly advantageous
- Healthy and safety-conscious, reliable, and punctual
Offer & Details
- Location: South Kensington, London (moving to Parsons Green later)
- Salary: £20 net per hour
- Start Date: September 2025
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–7:30pm (fixed hours during term time with option to expand hours in holidays)
