An excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly proactive House & Estate Manager to oversee a substantial private estate in Surrey, alongside the family’s additional UK residences. The Main estate comprises a large main residence, additional secondary property and extensive grounds, including leisure facilities and equestrian elements. The household is used periodically throughout the year, requiring a candidate who can maintain standards in the Principals’ absence and deliver a seamless experience when in-residence.

Surrey will account for approximately 85% of the role and is currently undergoing a major renovation due for completion at the end of October. The Estate Manager will take ownership of the final stages, snagging and mobilisation, before overseeing the long‑term smooth running of the property. The role also includes light‑touch oversight of a Chelsea apartment and two rental properties in the North of England, working alongside cleaners and third‑party property managers.

The successful candidate will act as a key point of coordination between the Principals, household staff and external providers, ensuring the estate is maintained and operated to the highest standard at all times. This is a long‑term opportunity for a high‑calibre candidate who takes pride in delivering exceptional standards and is confident operating at the highest level of private service.

Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years’ private House/Estate Management experience, ideally within UHNW households
  • Proactive, resilient and hands‑on with a strong “get it done” mentality
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
  • Strong property, project and contractor management experience
  • Flexible and comfortable working beyond a rigid job description
