A HNW Couple are seeking an experienced, proactive, and flexible Domestic Couple to manage their private residence in St James’, Mayfair.
Typically, the clients reside in the property for approximately three months of the year and travel frequently. When they are away, the role follows a Monday-Friday schedule. When they are in residence, weekend work and increased flexibility are required.
The Couple should offer Housekeeping, Cooking, Household Management & Property Maintenance, light Gardening, and Driving, along with light front of house service. Discretion and professionalism are expected at all times, in addition to a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving. Key is flexibility to adapt to the clients’ schedule when they are in residence. Key responsibilities are:
- General housekeeping duties, ensuring all areas are immaculate and including scheduled cleaning.
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management and packing/unpacking.
- Managing household supplies and inventory.
- Liaising with external service providers and contractors.
Cooking & Service
- Preparing and serving light, healthy meals (breakfast & occasional light lunches/supper).
- Setting up and clearing away meals with excellent service etiquette.
- Assisting with small events/parties (external caterers are used for larger events).
- Understanding of kosher cooking/service beneficial, but not essential.
Property & Maintenance Management
- General upkeep of the household, ensuring everything is in working order.
- Keyholder duties and property security when clients are away.
- Managing contractors, including scheduling and supervising maintenance works.
- Checking and maintaining plant rooms, elevator and household services.
- Light gardening and courtyard maintenance.
- Occasional driving duties (a Chauffeur is employed, but assistance may be required).
