We are seeking a couple of dedicated Fire & Security Engineers to join our team, responsible for maintaining and installing fire and security protection systems across various sites. The ideal candidate will possess good knowledge within the industry whilst we also assist in developing those skills further. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fastly growing company with a good structure for future development and positions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications. The Fire & Security Engineer will collaborate closely with the operations manager, assisting with faults, installs, remedials, service and various other tasks, making the job itself variable and exciting whilst also utilising our experienced engineers to help develop your skills on other systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and installing fire & security systems around the North West.
- Completing documents and reports on the UK's leading job management system.
- Conduct system analysis and ensure systems meet relevant safety standards and regulations.
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and electrical experience to assist in system assembly and troubleshooting.
- Interpret technical schematics, electrical diagrams, and mechanical drawings for accurate implementation.
- Perform site inspections to verify installation quality and compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide technical support during commissioning and testing phases.
Experience:
- Proven experience in fire and security industry.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, and construction plans effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations governing fire protection systems and security systems.
