Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our Client’s kitchen team, taking charge of a designated section and ensuring top-notch food preparation and presentation. This role is crucial for upholding kitchen standards, mentoring junior chefs, and contributing creatively to menu development. Were looking for someone with strong culinary skills, leadership qualities, and the ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining high service standards. Main Responsibilities: Manage a specific section of the kitchen (such as grill, sauces, or pastry), ensuring efficient and smooth operations. Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to an exceptional standard, maintaining consistency in flavour, portioning, and presentation. Supervise junior chefs (Commis and Demi Chefs), providing guidance and training to ensure they meet kitchen expectations. Oversee food quality by monitoring ingredients, cooking techniques, and adherence to recipes and kitchen guidelines. Track inventory in your section, ensuring ingredients are properly stocked, stored, and used efficiently to reduce waste. Maintain a clean, organized workstation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure timely service and smooth teamwork during busy periods.
