Poppies Preschool Gardiners Road is seeking a qualified and registered teacher to join our enthusiastic and dedicated team on a fixed-term contract (Wednesday 29 April - 10th August 2026), with the potential for ongoing employment. We are a well-established family owned and operated preschool with core values of Whanaungatanga, MÄnakitanga and Ako. Our kaiako share a positive team culture who are supportive, dynamic and fun. We enjoy our spacious, natural playground and enjoy connecting with our whanau and community through excursions and events.
The successful applicant will have:
- The ability to work approximately 40 hours per week over 5 days
- Have a current practising certificate from the New Zealand Teaching Council
- Have great communication skills and a sense of fun
- A passion for sustainability - we are part of the Enviroschools programme
