Nursery Cook in Uxbridge

Full-time Nursery Cook,9-5pm Monday-Friday, required to make simple healthy meals for nursery children,you must have previous cook experience in either a nursery / schooland confidence in cooking for children with food allergies essential**driver preferably, due to be located on a road with no footpath**

Nursery Cook Duties –

– Cook simple healthy meals from scratch and prepare snacks

– Manage all food orders

– Awareness of children who have food allergies and dietary requirements and ensure you follow this at all times.

– Cleanliness and management of the kitchen and children\’s eating areas

– Follow food hygiene guidelines

– Serve the children food, ability to have some interaction with them too.

– Food preparation for nursery events – eg Mother\’s day / Father\’s Day parties, Chinese New Year etc.

Nursery Cook Requirements:

– Recent experience working as a cook, some of your experience must come from either a school/nursery environment, cooking for children.

– Confidence and knowledge in cooking for children with food allergies – essential.

– Food Hygiene Certificate

– Can work full-time , 9-5pm , Monday – Friday and can get to Ruislip easily ** driver preferably we are on a remote road with no foot path**

– Able to work mainly alone (in the kitchen)
