Early Years SENCO

A new and exciting role, for an experienced Nursery SENCO , part-time , 16-25 hours a week (potential to increase hours), a very flexible role which can be done within school hours if desired. You will be required to works across 4 settings around Woking and surrounding areas (driver required, millage paid for) . Youmust beLevel 3 qualified in Childcare with strong and recent SEN experience in early years. September start, however can start sooner if desired.

SENCO Requirements –

• Level 3 in Childcare or aboveessential
• Recent UK SEN experience with children under 5essential
• Up to date knowledge on EYFS and Safeguarding
• Driver with own car essential
• Good with paperwork and communicating with parents, care givers , outside agencies.

SENCO Typical Duties –

• Identifying and assessing children's needs
• Planning support and supporting key workers
• Liaising with parents/care givers and outside agencies
• Monitoring progress
• Promoting inclusion
• Manage all SEN related paperwork and keep up to date
