A cook is required for 10 hours a week, specifically on Thursdays and Fridays from 9 am to 2 pm, to cook simple, healthy batch meals for children at our nursery. You do not need to have experience in a nursery or working with children, but you should have some previous experience working in a restaurant, café, or catering environment, as well as experience cooking for those who may have allergies or dietary requirements. We are happy to consider retired cooks or those looking to get back into work, as well as individuals who have studied or are currently studying a catering or food-related subject.
Cook Requirements:
- Previous experience cooking in a restaurant, café, or catering environment; school/nursery experience is a bonus but not essential.
- Able to work alone, as this role involves working independently in a kitchen with no team.
- Experience cooking for those with dietary requirements and food allergies.
- Happy with part-time hours (10 hours a week).

- Ability to clean and maintain a tidy kitchen, including mopping floors and cleaning surfaces.
