This is an opportunity to play a pivotal part in the growth of a high-performing consultancy on a mission to transform how organisations use systems, data, and software to create real impact. At Poplar Project Management, we don’t do tick-box consulting. We roll up our sleeves, integrate with client teams, and get stuck in solving complex challenges—particularly around CAFM (Computer-Aided Facilities Management) systems and wider digital transformation in the public and private sectors. We’re now looking for an experienced CAFM Solutions Consultant who wants freedom, autonomy, and the chance to shape the future of a growing business. If you're someone who thrives when trusted to lead, is passionate about driving meaningful outcomes, and wants to grow with the business (not just in it), this could be your next big move.
What You’ll Be Doing
- You’ll take the lead on client-facing CAFM projects.
- Leading strategy and system reviews to help clients select and implement the right CAFM tools.
- Acting as the bridge between technical configuration and business needs.
- Carrying out data cleanses, system configurations, and reporting builds that drive real results.
- Mapping out and redesigning processes to help clients scale efficiently.
- Training users, supporting adoption, and improving data quality.
- Supporting project delivery with plans, stakeholder updates, and risk/issue management.
What You Bring to the Table
- Minimum 3 years' hands-on experience delivering and configuring CAFM systems (e.g. Planon, QFM, Micad etc.).
- A sharp analytical mind with experience working with SQL, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
- Comfortable with process mapping, workflow documentation, and stakeholder communications.
- Able to communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A natural problem solver with a solution-first mindset.
- A proactive approach and genuine pride in the work you deliver.
The Type of Person We’re Looking For
- Independent but Collaborative – You can take the lead but value working as part of a team.
- Growth-Orientated – You're not just looking for a role, you're looking for a future.
- Detail-Driven – You spot issues before they become problems.
- Professional but Personable – You bring professionalism, but you're easy to work with.
- Client-Focused – You care about outcomes, not just outputs.
Why Join Poplar?
- You'll be joining at a pivotal time – influence how the business grows and where it goes.
- Varied, meaningful work with a strong focus on digital transformation in sectors that matter.
- A founder who believes in people-first leadership, flexibility, and opportunities to grow.
- A chance to move fast, learn a lot, and be part of something that’s still being shaped.
If you’re ready to step into a business where your ideas, input, and impact truly matter, we’d love to hear from you.
