We’re looking for a commercially astute Buyer to join our Commercial team at Popeyes UK. If you’re an experienced procurement professional with strong negotiation skills and a track record of managing suppliers across multiple categories, this is your opportunity to make a big impact in one of the UK’s fastest-growing QSR brands.

In this role, you’ll own a wide range of spend areas spanning Food and Non-Food, working cross-functionally to ensure every product and service we source is cost-effective, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with our brand and operational standards. You’ll be at the heart of supplier negotiations, category strategy, and sourcing initiatives that drive value, efficiency, and sustainability for our business.
What You’ll Do
- Lead procurement activities across multiple categories, covering both COGS and Overhead P&L lines
- Negotiate contracts, commercial terms and SLAs with new and existing suppliers to deliver value and protect quality
- Run tender processes and benchmarking exercises to identify the best suppliers and solutions for the business
- Provide spend analysis and category insights to support budgeting and strategic planning
- Champion ESG initiatives by sourcing sustainable and ethically responsible goods and services
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, aligning procurement with wider business priorities
What You’ll Have Done
- Proven experience in a procurement or buying role, ideally within QSR, casual dining or food retail
- A track record of successful negotiations and contract management across direct and indirect categories
- Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in cost analysis and supplier performance reporting
- Delivered results in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple priorities on the go
- Shown flexibility, resilience and commercial sharpness in balancing cost, quality, and speed
