Exciting Opportunity: We're hiring an Installations Manager (Solar PV, BESS, ASHP) for the UK. Are you a hands-on operator who thrives on getting projects delivered? We're looking for an Installations Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage (BESS), and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations across the UK. This is a multi-technology, get-stuck-in role — equal parts strategy, organisation, development, compliance and some face-to-face as required.
What you'll own:
- Full project delivery from contract to commissioning
- Customer liaison and post-install walkthroughs
- Trades and subcontractor coordination (electricians, heating engineers, roofers, scaffolders)
- Procurement and fulfilment across PV, batteries, heat pumps and ancillaries
- Compliant handover packs (MCS, DNO G98/G99, Building Regs, BUS)
- After-sales, warranty and performance optimisation
- Systems development to smooth the process.
What we're looking for:
- 3–5+ years in UK renewables, Solar PV & BESS, low-carbon heating or building services
- Hands-on knowledge of Solar PV, BESS, and ASHP installations
- Strong grasp of MCS standards (MIS 3002 & 3005), G98/G99
- Proven track record managing trades, suppliers and projects
- Full UK driving licence
Bonus points for: City & Guilds 2399-12, PAS 2035, SMSTS, Part L & P and experience scaling an installer through growth.
