The Role and Candidate:
We are looking for a proactive and strategic PR & Campaign Marketing Executive to lead and execute regional campaigns across the EU. You will work at the intersection of brand, media, and customer engagement, building awareness and driving growth through storytelling and marketing initiatives. This role requires a blend of creative thinking, executional excellence, and cross-market sensitivity.
Responsibilities:
- Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and media outlets. Pitch press releases, news stories, and feature ideas to secure media coverage. Clients’ preparation for media interviews. Monitor media coverage and track key metrics.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify and build relationships with relevant influencers. Develop and execute influencer campaigns that align with brand goals. Work alongside POP MART legal department to create influencer contracts, oversee influencer content creation, and track campaign performance. Provide regular reports and collate on behalf of other EU markets.
- Content Creation and Strategy: Support with writing and distributing press releases, media kits, and product pitches. Develop influencer briefs and content guidelines. Analyse data to identify unique angles for PR and influencer campaigns.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the wider marketing team, third party PR agency, and other relevant teams. Provide feedback on key social trends and industry development.
- Other Responsibilities: Participate in PR and marketing meetings for EU markets. Support the PR/Marketing department with online and offline marketing activities. Monitor competitor activity and seek out new opportunities. Support with EU store openings, campaigns and events.
Requirements:
- Strong writing and communication skills.
- Experience with PR and influencer marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of media platforms and social media channels.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to track and report on campaign performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, or a related field
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience ideally in a retail, lifestyle, or FMCG environment
Desirable but Not Essential:
- Experience working with brands in the fashion, collectibles, or entertainment sectors
- Additional European language skills (e.g. German, French, Italian, Spanish)
