The Role and Candidate
POP MART is seeking a highly organized and proactive Brand Partnership Supervisor to join the team. This role supports the IP & Licensing Manager in leading and supervising brand collaborations, IP, and brand partnership projects, while also managing and developing a small team. The ideal candidate is well-organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing multiple external partnership projects from start to finish. They should have strong leadership ability, cross-team coordination skills, and confidence in supervising others to deliver results. Prior experience in marketing, partnerships, licensing, or communications with team management responsibility is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Communication & Negotiation: Evaluate partnership opportunities and assess commercial value to ensure alignment with company strategy; lead daily negotiations with brand partners; act as liaison between internal teams and external partners; negotiate and discuss business terms to secure favorable outcomes; maintain clear communication of goals and expectations across all parties.
- Project Coordination: Support day-to-day management of multiple ongoing projects; coordinate approvals, content delivery, and launch timelines; flag and help resolve potential delays; prepare and organize key documents (NDAs, proposals, pitch decks); maintain records, trackers, and reporting for team visibility; work with marketing, merchandising and legal teams to support partnerships initiatives.
- Research & Strategy Support: Conduct market research on potential partners and trends to identify new opportunities; provide strategic recommendations on partnership fit and long-term value; supervise, coach, and support junior team members.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of proven experience in marketing, licensing, brand partnership, event marketing, account management, or related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Demonstrated interest in pop culture, collectibles, or designer toys
- Strong logical thinking skills and risk awareness
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must hold a valid work visa/residency in the UK for employment
Desirable but Not Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, statistics, or related field
- Additional European language skills (Spanish, German, French, Italian)
