MPK Garages Ltd are one of the top 50 Independent Forecourt Retailers in the UK. We work closely with our supply partners Texaco, Nisa and Londis to provide quality products at competitive prices. We pride ourselves in delivering great customer service and consistently high standards throughout our stores and forecourts. We are currently recruiting for a Store Manager to manage Drayton Service Station, Watling Street, Fazeley, nr Tamworth B78 3RN. The store is currently undergoing refurbishment and will be fully open shortly. This is a great opportunity to build your team and move the store forward. The Store Manager main responsibility is to manage a retail convenience store and forecourt. Leading the team setting consistently high standards and delivering excellent customer service. Promoting sales and leading the financial performance of the store. Benefits: Salary £30,516 per annum 40 hour per week contract 28 days paid holiday for a complete year Contributable pension scheme Staff discount In store training and development Progression for those who are looking for a career in sales and retail What we are looking for: Ideally experience in retail Flexible to work between Monday to Sunday Right to work in the UK Main Responsibilities: Managing instore facilities to ensure brand standards are met Meeting targets, managing costs, wages, waste and cash shortages Managing stock, ordering and deliveries ensuring all shortages damages are reported within the correct timelines Ensure customers are served quickly, professionally with excellent customer service Recruit and manage the performance of your team ensuring the correct level of training for their role Ensure all the daily cashing, banking tasks are completed accurately within the allocated timelines Maxising sales by ensuring product availability across the store, managing merchandising and in-store promotions Implementing company policies, procedures to ensure the store operates in a safe and legal manner to cover all aspects of food safety Managing the store and forecourt ensuring high standards are met To see in fuel deliveries safely and legally to meet the needs of the business To manage the retail sale of alcohol TPBN1_UKTJ
