HGV Class C+E Night Drivers

Pertemps have an exciting opportunity for Night Drivers to work out of a National Distribution Centre situated in Howden, Goole (DN14). This role involves working 4 to 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, on behalf of a global leader in the logistics industry. Drivers will transport products such as kitchens & fixtures to Howden Joinery Sites across various regions, with occasional weekend shifts.

C+E Drivers duties include:

• Trunking between depots & sites
• Palletised Goods (No Handballing or Lifting)
• Curtain Sider work (must have experience)
• Shift availability Monday to Friday, with some weekends during peaks
• Ensuring loads are safely secured and following safety protocols
• Completing daily delivery paperwork and logbooks

Immediate starts are available upon successful completion of a 1.5-day assessment. Various shift start times can be requested.

Tasks for C+E Drivers include:

• Planning routes with transport managers
• Securing loads and strap loads as required by law
• Following traffic reports and adjusting routes accordingly
• Completing delivery documentation and vehicle checks

Requirements for C+E Drivers:

• A valid LGV C+E licence with at least 12 months experience
• No more than 6 penalty points, no endorsements like DD, DR, or IN10

Salary & Benefits:

• Monday to Friday Nights: £20.63 per hour (Flat Rate)
• Saturday & Sunday: £25.79 per hour (Flat Rate)
• Paid breaks included
• Holiday pay accrued (approx. 2 days/month)
• Optional pension scheme and SSP if applicable
