A Customer Services Administrator to join our small, supportive team at our Chapeltown Distribution Centre. This role will primarily focus on customer returns and customer service administration for both human and veterinary products. As part of a small team, the successful candidate will also receive training in other areas over time to ensure full team cover during annual leave, once they are confident in their core responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and administer customer returns to the Chapeltown Distribution Centre in a timely and compliant manner
- Work closely with Procurement to ensure Chapeltown requirements are met
- Maintain customer service KPIs and trackers
- Respond to customer claims within agreed timescales
- Act as the first point of contact for customer service‑related queries via phone and email
- Provide delivery information and documentation, including Proof of Deliveries (PODs), when requested
- Record and raise Quality Events where necessary (process deviations)
- Escalate complex or urgent customer queries to the Line Manager when required
- Assist with the implementation of relevant projects when necessary
- Carry out any other reasonable duties as assigned
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Demonstrate knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
- Take responsibility for personal health and safety and ensure the work area is safe and compliant
- Report any health and safety concerns to the Line Manager
