Poons is an independent restaurant from a legendary family name, with a Michelin Starred legacy. We returned to the scene in November 2025 with a classic, home-style Chinese menu that honours seasonality, and is complemented by a drinks list hosting 70+ wines from female or family run labels, as well as cocktails inspired by seasonality and Chinese flavours - all set within the stunning surrounds of Grade I listed Somerset House.
We are looking for warm, engaging and enthusiastic individuals to join the team at Poons. As a bartender, you will have shifts both tending our inside dispense bar for our 62-cover restaurant and flexible private dining room, as well as shifts on our 16-cover terrace bar which includes an element of hosting guests and table service with our reduced A La Plage small eats.
