What This Role Is Here To Do (Role Purpose)
As a Front of House Runner at Poolhouse, your mission is to support waiters and the wider FOH team to deliver smooth, efficient, guest-first service. You’re the glue that keeps the guest experience moving – anticipating needs, delivering food and drinks promptly, clearing tables, and stepping in wherever needed. Fast-paced, on your feet, and full of energy, you’re a key player in making service feel seamless and enjoyable.

- Guests receive their food and drinks promptly and with care
- Tables are cleared, reset, and guest-ready without delay
- Waiters feel supported and able to focus on great service

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver food and drinks from bar/kitchen to tables quickly and accurately
- Clear and reset tables swiftly, maintaining pace and hygiene
- Keep service areas clean, stocked, and organised at all times
- Refill water, condiments, cutlery, and assist with guest needs
- Communicate with waiters and bar/kitchen staff to keep service flowing
- Support glass and plate collections, ensuring back-of-house runs smoothly
- Follow hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards at all times
- Be a calm, positive, and proactive part of the team
