We’re looking for experienced front‑of‑house professionals who set the tone from the very first moment. As part of Poolhouse’s opening team for our February 2026 launch, this role is reserved for hosts and receptionists who already operate with confidence, warmth, and control in busy, guest‑facing environments. You’ll be the first and last impression of the brand, so prior experience in premium or high‑volume hospitality is essential.

As the first and last face our guests see, the Host plays a vital role in creating a standout experience from the moment they walk through the door. You’ll bring warmth, confidence, and impeccable organisation to every shift: welcoming guests, managing bookings, coordinating smooth arrivals and departures, and keeping the venue buzzing with good vibes and great flow.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with warmth, energy, and confidence
- Manage the booking system and guest list with attention to detail
- Communicate expected wait times, table availability, and venue layout
- Proactively monitor guest movement and adjust flow where needed
- Act as the point of contact for bookings, walk‑ins, and special occasions
- Liaise with FOH team to ensure tables are guest‑ready and properly turned over
- Support queue management and minimise guest wait times
- Handle guest queries or concerns professionally and positively
- Keep the host stand organised and presentable at all times
- Assist with cloakroom duties and guest belongings when required
- Keep a calm head and a smile during busy periods
