HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer Mobile

Dudley

Salary:£50,000 per annum (DOE) Plus Van, door to door pay & overtime (OTE60k+)

Job Type:Full-time, Permanent
Location:Midlands, mobile role – on call one in four weeks
Benefits:Company van provided (personal use & door to door pay + overtime)

The Role

An established and growing engineering company is looking for an experiencedHVAC / Refrigeration Engineerto join their mobile service team. The role isbased from the West Midlands, withoccasional further travelto support key contracts and project work.

This is a varied, hands-on role working acrosscommercial, residential, hotel, and industrial environments, offering excellent technical exposure and long-term progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems

  • Reactive and planned maintenance works

  • Occasional installation and commissioning

  • Mobile engineer duties across the Midlands and North when required

  • Diagnose system faults and carry out effective repairs

  • Complete service reports and maintain compliance standards

  • Work independently while liaising with supervisors and engineers

  • Support national projects when required

Systems & Equipment

  • HVAC systems

  • Refrigeration systems

  • Chilled water systems

  • DX systems (VRV / VRF, splits, multi-splits)

  • Commercial & industrial refrigeration (chillers, condensers, freezers)

  • Gas-fired heating plant

  • Boilers and water heaters

  • Industrial plant and engineering environments (occasional)

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer

  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

  • Experience in commercial buildings, hotels or residential developments

  • Comfortable working as a mobile engineer

  • Full UK driving licence (essential)

  • F-Gas certification desirable

  • Gas Safe registration desirable but not essential
