Are you an electrical estimator working in the M&E sector and looking for a new challenge? We have a great role for you - Our client, based in Wombourne on the Dudley Wolverhampton border, is a specialist mechanical and electrical contractor, and they have a full-time role available. It’s a full-time permanent role which is office-based. They specialise in industrial/commercial work. This can range from new warehouse fit-outs to hotel refurbishments. They also carry out work within care homes, leisure facilities and public sector buildings to show the variety of work they do.
The successful candidate MUST have at least 2-3 years of experience and be experienced in electrical estimating. A good knowledge and understanding of mechanical installation would be advantageous.
Responsibilities/Skills required:
- Must be able to work as part of a team and strive for success and precision/quality estimates.
- Great attention to detail is a must.
- Electrical and Mechanical estimations.
- Interpretation of tender documents, working on bids.
- Working on design and build electrical projects of up to £2m.
- Quoting for electrical projects using an estimating computerised software package.
- Dealing with enquiries, working closely with key accounts/clients.
