An established and growing engineering company is looking for an experienced HVAC / Refrigeration Engineer to join their mobile service team. The role is based from the West Midlands, with occasional further travel to support key contracts and project work. This is a varied, hands-on role working across commercial, residential, hotel, and industrial environments, offering excellent technical exposure and long-term progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintenance, fault-finding and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems
- Reactive and planned maintenance works
- Occasional installation and commissioning
- Mobile engineer duties across the Midlands and North when required
- Diagnose system faults and carry out effective repairs
- Complete service reports and maintain compliance standards
- Work independently while liaising with supervisors and engineers
- Support national projects when required

- DX systems (VRV / VRF, splits, multi-splits)
- Commercial & industrial refrigeration (chillers, condensers, freezers)

Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Engineer / Refrigeration Engineer
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Experience in commercial buildings, hotels or residential developments
- Comfortable working as a mobile engineer
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- F-Gas certification – desirable
- Gas Safe registration – desirable but not essential
