We are recruiting on behalf of Northamptonshire County Cricket Club. For the right candidate, there is some flexibility on the hours of work available. The role is paying up to £25k, pro rate if part-time.
We are open to receiving applications from experienced designers to work from 25 to 37.5 hours per week.
We are open to full-time, part-time, and freelance candidates.
The role is based on site every day for the hours worked, this is non-negotiable.
The successful candidate MUST have at least 2 years experience and be able to provide previous work examples to give a better understanding of current ability level.
Responsibilities:
As a Graphic Designer, you\’ll create eye-catching visuals for a variety of products and activities, such as:
- Create compelling graphic designs for a variety of digital platforms (website, social media, etc.) and print materials (brochures, posters, signage).
- Ensure consistent application of the club\’s brand guidelines across all design projects.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Deliver high-quality, professional artwork that aligns with the club\’s goals and standards.
- Serve as the club\’s primary graphic design resource, collaborating effectively with management and other departments.
- Liaise with external vendors, such as printers and signage companies, to ensure accurate and timely production of materials.
- Effectively communicate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders.
Requirements and skills
- Confident in using Adobe CS Suite (such as InDesign, Illustrator, & Photoshop)
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working in a fast-paced, creative team
- The confidence to explain and sell ideas to colleagues and clients
- Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at once
