Our client is a growing design and development company across the UK, including retail units, industrial and commercial buildings, gyms, shopping centres, car parks and associated infrastructure works. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Clerk of Works / Quality Manager to take a leading role in site-based quality assurance, inspection, and coaching across multiple live projects nationwide.
The Role
Reporting to the Construction Director, you will act as the eyes and ears of quality on site - ensuring works are delivered correctly, safely and in full compliance with drawings, specifications, Building Regulations, ISO standards and client expectations. This position blends traditional Clerk of Works duties with modern Quality Management responsibilities. You will carry out regular site inspections, support project teams with technical guidance, and promote a right first time culture through proactive coaching and early identification of issues.
