Poolhall Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to deliver a multi-storey construction project in Cheltenham. This is a project-specific role requiring a site presence 3–4 days per week. Office attendance is to be confirmed; however, the role is primarily site-led. Candidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Cheltenham.
The Role
You will be responsible for managing a multi-storey project from design stage through to construction and completion. Candidates with experience in either multi-storey car park projects or industrial fit-out projects will be considered. Experience managing multi-level building structures is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the project from design development through to completion
- Oversee the technical design process and release for construction
- Full responsibility for programme, budget, and construction contract
- Coordinate pre-construction, procurement, and site activities
- Track programme and report project progress
- Monitor site quality, health & safety, and compliance
- Act as the main point of contact for the client and stakeholders
- Award and manage subcontract packages
- Manage variations, change control, and cost reporting
Essential Experience & Skills
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction
- Experience delivering multi-storey buildings
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site operations
- Experience managing design teams and subcontractors
- Strong commercial awareness and budget control
- Confident, hands-on approach to site-based Project Management
Desirable Experience (either / or)
- Multi-storey car park Project Management experience OR
- Industrial fit-out Project Management experience
