We’re growing — and it’s an exciting time to join Poole Townsend’s Private Client Department. Due to continued demand and expansion across our client base, we are recruiting for multiple roles within our Private Client Team, based in Barrow‑in‑Furness (with flexibility across our other offices and hybrid working considered).

The Role

A key support role within the team, ideal for an experienced legal administrator who enjoys client contact, organisation, and working as part of a collaborative department. You will provide high‑quality administrative and secretarial support to private client fee earners, helping to ensure efficient workflows and excellent client care.

Key Areas Of Responsibility Include:

  • Producing legal documents and correspondence
  • Audio typing and document formatting
  • Preparing Powers of Attorney and other standard forms
  • File opening, maintenance and archiving
  • Diary management and client liaison
  • Billing support and record‑keeping

What We Are Looking For

  • Strong administration or legal support experience
  • Excellent word‑processing and audio‑typing skills
  • Confident IT skills (Microsoft Office and case‑management systems)
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional, empathetic and client‑focused approach
