Our dedicated team is committed to delivering outstanding results, and we are looking for a reliable and motivated individual to join us as a Lettings Viewer.

The Role:

As a Lettings Viewer, you will play a key role in supporting our busy lettings department across Barrow, Dalton and Ulverston. You will be responsible for conducting property viewings with prospective tenants, carrying out routine rental inspections, and undertaking empty property checks to ensure our managed portfolio is maintained to a high standard. This is a client-facing role requiring professionalism, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently while representing Poole Townsend to the highest standard. The role is typically Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00am – 4:30pm (days can be flexible by agreement). During British Winter Time, working hours are 9:00am – 3:30pm due to daylight considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting property viewings with prospective tenants
  • Carrying out routine rental inspections in line with company procedures
  • Completing empty property checks and reporting findings
  • Providing clear, accurate feedback to the lettings team
  • Ensuring properties are secure following viewings and inspections
  • Reporting maintenance issues and safeguarding concerns promptly
  • Delivering excellent customer service at all times
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant property legislation and company policies

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in estate agency or lettings is preferred but not essential
  • Professional, confident and personable manner
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Competent IT skills for reporting software
  • Full UK driving licence with business insurance and access to own vehicle in the event the company vehicle is not available
