A global media and entertainment services company founded in 1915 is looking for a senior business development leader to drive revenue growth across the UK and EMEA. The focus is on winning new clients and expanding relationships across localisation and media services, with a clear mandate to bring in work from broadcasters, studios, streamers, sports rights holders, and content distributors.

The role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy and client relationships. You will own new business targets, build senior relationships with key accounts, and partner closely with Operations, Client Services, and Finance to ensure everything you sell can actually be delivered profitably.

  • Commercial Leadership
    • Own UK/EMEA new business revenue targets and pipeline generation
    • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned to growth priorities
    • Identify and convert opportunities across studios, streaming platforms, broadcasters, content creators, content owners/distributors, gaming and media-adjacent sectors, and sports content creators
    • Lead complex commercial negotiations and support RFP responses
  • Client Growth and Relationship Management
    • Build senior relationships with new key accounts and procurement stakeholders
    • Support expansion of share-of-wallet within existing clients
    • Improve visibility and positioning within the media market
  • Revenue and Pipeline Management
    • Maintain robust sales forecasting and reporting
    • Deliver regular pipeline reviews and revenue updates
    • Partner with Account Leadership, Operations, and Finance on margin and pricing strategy
    • Drive conversion and sales activity
  • Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Work closely with Global Accounts, Operations, Client Services, and Finance
    • Ensure commercial commitments are operationally deliverable
    • Support go-to-market positioning for new services and capabilities
  • Team and Market Leadership
    • Potential leadership of Account Managers / Business Development resources (depending on structure)
    • Coach and elevate commercial capability within the region
    • Represent the business at industry events and client forums (MPTS, Cannes, MIPCOM, NAB, IBC)

Ideal Profile

  • Significant experience within media services, post-production, localisation, broadcast/media operations, or entertainment technology
  • An existing network across UK/EMEA media clients, with a focus on media servicing clients and revenue
  • Proven track record delivering multimillion-pound revenue growth
  • Strong commercial negotiation capability
  • Comfortable operating in complex, matrixed environments
  • Strong executive presence with both clients and internal stakeholders
