We are looking for a Seller Activation & Incubation Manager to own sellers from onboarding through early growth and activation, with the goal of accelerating them to their first meaningful GMV milestone (≈£4.5K) before handing over to Account Strategists.

As a key operator and architect of our early-stage incubation engine, you will act as an early-stage account owner, supporting sellers hands-on with operational readiness while driving scalable incubation through webinars, educational content, and horizontal programs. You will manage cohorts of newly onboarded and high-potential sellers, diagnose growth blockers, and deploy systematic treatments that shorten time-to-activation and improve early retention. This role blends account management, operations knowledge, and scalable enablement.

You will work closely with Account Strategists, BPOs, and cross-functional teams to ensure sellers receive the right support at the right stage, and that learnings from early-stage sellers are translated into repeatable playbooks and programs.

Team Description: The UK MAI (Merchant Acquisition and Incubation) team operates within the SMB pillar of TikTok E-commerce, spearheading the acquisition and onboarding journey for new sellers. The team is responsible for UK TikTok Shop merchants and merchandise growth, aiming to onboard, incubate, educate merchants from scratch and drive their business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own high potential sellers from onboarding through early activation (0 → ~£4.5K GMV), acting as the primary point of contact during the incubation phase.
  • Support sellers on operational readiness, policies, and execution fundamentals to unblock early growth.
  • Design and run scalable incubation initiatives, including webinars, education content, and mass activation programs.
  • Segment early-stage sellers by profile and readiness, and apply targeted incubation treatments.
  • Track seller progress, activation metrics, and handover readiness to Account Strategists.
  • Partner with Account Strategists, Strategy, Acquisition, BPOs, and XFN teams to ensure smooth handovers and aligned seller journeys.
  • Turn early-stage insights into repeatable playbooks, SOPs, and program improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above, 1+ years experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or strategic operations, ideally in e-commerce or high-growth tech.
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel/Sheets, and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or DataStudio.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a sharp business acumen.
  • Experience turning data into narratives that influence decision-making across stakeholders.
  • Clear communicator who can translate complex data into simple insights and actionable next steps.
