Performance Director, Social and Programmatic in Slough

A global media network with an EMEA HQ in London is looking for a Performance Director lead EU social and programmatic activity for a major skincare and healthcare portfolio.

You will take on a defined group of European markets, likely including the UK, Germany, Nordics, Ireland and Switzerland, with clear ownership of performance across your cluster.

What you will be doing

• Leading the EU social and programmatic team on a flagship skincare and healthcare account
• Owning performance strategy across paid social, YouTube and programmatic
• Working across Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube and Amazon, with DV360 as the core DSP
• Overseeing planning, activation, optimisation, QA and reporting across markets
• Managing an activation heavy timetable with quarterly media plans per product, constant campaign launches and ongoing optimisation cycles
• Acting as a senior contact for regional and local client teams
• Partnering with local market and offshore teams to deliver high quality execution
• Championing automation and centralised operations to improve efficiency
• Coaching and developing a team of performance specialists

What you need

• Strong experience in performance media across paid social, YouTube and programmatic
• Solid hands on experience with DV360 and YouTube campaigns is a strong plus
• Background working with large, complex or global brands
• Confidence planning, measuring and reporting against performance KPIs
• Experience managing senior client relationships and influencing stakeholders
• Track record in coaching and developing biddable specialists
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
