We’re working with a global media and entertainment services business, that’s looking to hire a VP / Director of Business Development to lead growth across the UK and EMEA. This is a senior commercial role focused on winning new business across localisation and media services. The business already has a strong reputation in the market, and they’re keen to bring in someone with the network, credibility, and commercial ability to open doors across broadcasters, studios, streaming platforms, sports rights holders, content distributors, and wider media clients.

You’ll own revenue growth across the region, build strategic client relationships, lead complex commercial discussions, and work closely with Operations, Client Services, and Finance to ensure solutions are commercially sound and operationally deliverable. There’s also scope to help shape regional commercial strategy and mentor broader business development resources.

The role would suit someone coming from media services, localisation, post-production, broadcast/media operations, or entertainment technology, with a proven track record of driving multimillion-pound revenue growth across EMEA markets.

Key areas of focus:
  • Driving UK/EMEA new business revenue and pipeline growth
  • Developing strategic sales plans aligned with business priorities
  • Winning opportunities across studios, broadcasters, streamers, gaming, sports, and content owners/distributors
  • Leading commercial negotiations and supporting RFP processes
  • Building senior relationships across procurement and key stakeholder groups
  • Partnering closely with internal teams on pricing, margin, forecasting, and delivery
  • Representing the business at major industry events including MPTS, Cannes, MIPCOM, NAB, and IBC
Ideal background:
  • Strong experience within media services, localisation, entertainment technology, or related sectors
  • Established network across UK and EMEA media markets
