Level 3 Learning Support Assistant

Actual salary: £20,875 to £23,011 per annum

Hours: 31.91 per week, 39 weeks per annum

Pool Hayes Academy are looking to appoint an experienced and professional Level 3 Learning Support Assistant, with a real drive to enhance students’ experience of secondary education. The successful candidate will improve the social, emotional and mental wellbeing of identified vulnerable students to increase their academic outcomes.

The role will include working with students with special educational needs and also with students who are hard to reach and may have difficulties with attendance. The Level 3 Learning Support Assistant will deliver elements of the academic curriculum, with guidance from subject leaders, to enable students to achieve exam success.

The department is part of a well‑led, dynamic team whose colleagues all enjoy supporting the Academy and its culture of outstanding success among our students.

The ideal candidate will hold GCSE level 4/C+ in a range of subjects including English and Maths, hold a level 3 teaching assistant qualification, and have previous experience of working with young people who are vulnerable or hard to reach.
