Pooch & Mutt is one of the fastest growing, most award-winning pet food companies in the UK. We are a health food company, whose products happen to be eaten by pets. We deal with the biggest retailers in the UK such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Pets at Home and Amazon plus a fast moving and ever expanding D2C business. We want you to help us operate at the highest levels as we launch our exciting new rebrand.
Our dream candidate will be able to work independently, show initiative, be passionate about start-ups, be tenacious and dedicated in their attitude to solving problems. Reporting to the Operations & Logistics Lead and working closely with the operations and finance teams, the Operations & Logistics Administrator will be responsible for looking after the day-to-day supply chain activities which get our bags of pet food onto shelves in the supermarket. This is a remote position requiring travel within the UK once a month. Flexibility may be required for peak periods and training.
Key Responsibilities- Processing orders from customers and liaising with our outsourced 3PL to ensure all orders are delivered OTIF
- Processing invoices and credit notes in a timely manner
- Manage the day-to-day relationships with supply chain teams at all of our major customers
- Raising import paperwork to clear our products through customs
- Set up of new products on the various systems & ensuring price lists are up to date
- Supporting the production of accurate and timely reports on service level, inventory and others as required
- A highly motivated self-starter who is comfortable working alone – we work remotely
- Responsible – You’ll treat our customers, our consumers and our money as if they’re your own. You strive to always do the right thing, even when it’s not the easiest way
- A team player
- Good attention to detail is an absolute must for this role
- Ability to manage complexity in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with accounting software to process orders / invoices
- Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience with EDI software
