Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, 6 months

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the automation of a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) platform build in a greenfield environment, ensuring seamless integration and deployment.
  • Establish API-driven automation frameworks for VCF components to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Automate the creation of VCF workload domains (Prod, Non-Prod, DMZ, Mgmt) and NSX segments aligned with VLANs.
  • Implement robust network segmentation and isolation to uphold the separation of operational and corporate networks.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps-driven workflows for streamlined processes.
  • Build and maintain VM provisioning pipelines, including golden images, network attachments, and baseline security policies.
  • Integrate platform logging and event streams into Splunk Cloud for comprehensive audit and monitoring.
  • Define DFW rulesets and security policies as code, managed via CI/CD pipelines.
  • Validate East-West and North-South traffic flows, ensuring strict network isolation boundaries and compliance controls.
  • Align NSX networking with FortiGate and Cisco underlay infrastructure to optimize performance.
  • Enable application hosting capabilities within a DevOps pipeline, supporting cutting-edge delivery practices.
