Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize user-centric front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, with a strong preference for Angular.
  • Collaborate with UX Designers and Product Managers to translate design wireframes and prototypes into functional front-end components.
  • Maintain a consistent look and feel across all digital products by implementing and managing a shared design system.
  • Write clean, modular, and testable front-end code that adheres to best practices and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
  • Optimize application performance and load times through efficient front-end architecture and code-splitting techniques.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, contributing to front-end development standards and guidelines.
  • Integrate RESTful APIs and collaborate with back-end engineers to ensure seamless end-to-end system functionality.
  • Troubleshoot interface issues and debug browser compatibility problems across various devices and platforms.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, recommending improvements as necessary.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement and experimentation, helping teams adopt new UI technologies and approaches.
  • Support third-party partners in implementing the organization's UI standards and quality expectations.
  • Take ownership of personal development and career progression, actively contributing to the broader engineering community.

What You Bring:

  • Experience in front-end or UI engineering, preferably in a cloud or hybrid environment.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+), with experience in building and maintaining responsive and accessible interfaces at scale.
  • Familiarity with state management libraries and component-based architectures.
  • Experience with design systems and tools such as Figma or Storybook.
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization, testing (unit, integration, and end-to-end), and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Knowledge of front-end tooling and bundlers like Webpack or Vite.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines, as well as REST APIs and integration with back-end services.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, paired with strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • A passion for inclusive design and familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
