We're recruiting for an experienced Technical Product Manager to join the Asset Data Domain within the Chief Data Office (CDO), part of the IT & Digital function of a major UK critical infrastructure organisation. This is an opportunity to shape enterprise data and analytics products that support engineering, asset management and strategic decision-making across one of the UK's largest asset portfolios.

What You'll Be Doing

  • You'll own the vision, roadmap and delivery of enterprise data products, working closely with business leaders, engineering teams and technology specialists to deliver solutions that improve asset performance and decision-making.
  • Key programmes include:
    • Developing data and analytics products that support asset risk management with the Group Engineering function.
    • Shaping how Operational Technology (OT) data is utilised to unlock greater operational insight and business value.
    • Defining product roadmaps, investment priorities, business cases and delivery plans.
    • Working with Technical Leads and Programme Managers to shape product strategy, resource requirements and successful delivery.
    • Leading stakeholder engagement across engineering, asset management, data and IT.

About You

You'll be an experienced Technical Product Manager (or Data Product Manager/Product Owner) with experience delivering enterprise digital or data products within complex organisations. You'll have:

  • Strong Technical Product Management experience.
  • Knowledge of asset management and the asset lifecycle within an asset-intensive industry.
  • Experience developing product roadmaps, managing backlogs and translating business requirements into product outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business leaders and technical teams.
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to operate across business and technology functions.

Technical Knowledge

This isn't a hands-on technical role, but you'll be comfortable engaging with architects and engineering teams. Experience or familiarity with the following is highly desirable:

  • Microsoft Azure
  • Snowflake
  • Cloud and hyperscale platforms
  • Data products, analytics and AI-enabled solutions
  • Operational Technology (OT) data
  • Enterprise data architecture and governance
