Risk Lead** (Contract) Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension) Location: Chester (3 days per week on site) Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella day rate is available for suitable candidates Role Profile We are currently seeking a highly motivated Risk Lead to join our client's team in the Investment Banking industry. As a Risk Lead, you will play a crucial role in partnering and supporting the Currency, Commodities & Derivatives Operations (CCDO) teams and senior leaders. Your main responsibilities will include proactively identifying, quantifying, prioritising, and mitigating risks, improving controls, and maintaining a focus on operational excellence and sustainable solutions. Key Responsibilities: Partner with CCDO teams to improve the risk profile and control environment Provide independent oversight and assessment of the risk environment Strengthen control culture and practises, promoting risk principles across the organisation Coordinate regulatory exams, corporate audits, and target risk assessments Develop and maintain the Single Process Inventory framework Collaborate with Audit, Compliance, and Operational Risk partners on findings and emerging themes Ensure compliance with critical deadlines for risk identification and remediation Skills & Requirements: Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as a team player Experience in…
