The role:
For a leading organisation in the Information Technology and Digital sector, we are seeking a Portfolio Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with financial analysis for our Cyber PCD reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Track spend across Capex, Opex, Totex
- Budget setting, monitoring, variance analysis
- Deep dives into financials - "follow the money"
- Reforecasting (monthly, quarterly, mid‑period)
- Aligning spend to ED2/ED3 roadmaps & technology plans
- Working with product managers & value streams
- Reporting delivery progress against transformation plans
Requirements:
- Strong financial literacy (Capex, Opex, Totex)
- Budget tracking and forecasting
- Understanding of financial periods, actuals, re‑forecasts
- Ability to challenge spend and guide non-finance stakeholders
- Experience with technology / IT spend (nice-to-have)
