Join Our Team as a Planner! Are you a master of organization with a passion for driving successful project outcomes? Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Planner to join their dynamic team! If you're ready to make a significant impact by developing and managing comprehensive programme plans, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Developing and managing the overall programme plan, highlighting key deliverables, milestones, and critical paths throughout all project phases.
  • Defining project planning standards and processes in line with industry best practices that all projects within the programme must follow.
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to ensure alignment with NGET/Programme Governance, keeping the programme plan updated with the latest project statuses.
  • Accurately assessing and communicating progress against baseline project plans, reporting key milestone achievements and any deviations.
  • Providing insightful weekly and monthly analysis and reporting as needed within the programme.
  • Continuously reviewing and improving planning processes to drive value and establish best practices.
  • Evaluating contractor programme submissions and providing actionable recommendations.
  • Analyzing the critical path and managing interfaces between plans and contractors.
  • Supporting recovery strategies for compensation events that impact programmes.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Solid knowledge of PMO roles within complex programmes.
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders to understand their needs and set clear expectations.
  • A background in Construction or Business Change programmes.
  • Familiarity with NEC contract processes.
  • Proficiency in planning software, particularly P6 and MS Project.

Your Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing diverse stakeholders effectively.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proven experience in a demanding planning role, capable of adapting to changing environments.
  • Strong skills in project planning software (P6, MS Project, MS Excel) within an MS SharePoint environment.
  • A track record of creating and maintaining robust project plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working across large, complex project teams, engaging with multiple internal and external parties.
