Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting a range of critical applications built on the .NET framework (4.6+), alongside some Python work. You will collaborate with technical and business colleagues across various locations, including North Carolina, Jersey City, Singapore, India, and London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain high-quality software applications using .NET (4.5+ / .NET Core) and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective solutions.
  • Provide support to team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Liaise with technical and business colleagues to understand functional requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Utilise your understanding of Web Services (REST, SOAP) to design and document APIs effectively.
  • Work with MS SQL Server, including TSQL, SSIS, SSRS for database management and reporting.
  • Utilise version control tools such as Git/Bitbucket and job scheduling tools like Autosys.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
  • Demonstrate a keen eye for detail and an aptitude for problem analysis and resolution.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in software development with .NET (C#, .NET Core) and Python.
  • Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP).
  • Understanding of API design and documentation best practices.
  • Proficient in MS SQL Server, TSQL, SSIS, SSRS.
  • Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket and job scheduling tools like Autosys.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular, JavaScript, and ASP.NET MVC is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team-oriented environment.
  • A proactive approach to innovation, with a willingness to share new ideas and technologies.
