Role Overview: As the M365 Identity & Integration Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the technical integration and ongoing operation of applications across the Workplace Technology portfolio. Your hands-on expertise will ensure that new and existing applications align with identity, security, governance, and operational processes. Get ready to collaborate with various teams, including Microsoft 365, Cyber Security, and Service Operations, to deliver secure and supportable solutions!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Application Integration: Oversee the technical onboarding of applications from design to BAU support.
  • Secure Integrations: Design and implement integrations with corporate services, including Entra ID/Active Directory and SSO (SAML, OIDC, OAuth).
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Understand functional requirements and translate them into practical technical designs.
  • Ensure Monitoring: Integrate applications with internal monitoring and support processes before go-live.
  • SSO Support: Implement and support SSO integrations via Entra ID, managing app registrations and troubleshooting.
  • Apply Security Controls: Enforce organizational standards, including Conditional Access, MFA, and secure account management.
  • Support Security Assurance: Assist in architecture reviews, supplier security assessments, and remediation actions.
  • Operational Artefacts: Produce and maintain support models, runbooks, and onboarding checklists.
  • Technical Escalation Point: Act as a go-to for complex incidents related to authentication and access.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work with platform teams to deliver cohesive solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose enhancements for integration and operational processes.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including SSO and app registrations.
  • Proficiency in Conditional Access/MFA design and operational troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of identity governance concepts (RBAC, least privilege).
  • Expertise in integrating SaaS platforms within regulated environments.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting skills across authentication flows and related technologies.

Nice-to-Have (Highly Desirable):

  • Experience with Cisco Spaces or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with workplace analytics and data governance.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and integration points.
  • Basic scripting/automation skills (PowerShell preferred).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Identity/Security/Azure fundamentals).
  • ITIL v4 Foundation or equivalent service management certification.
