Purpose of the Role:

As the Lead Infrastructure Project Manager, your mission is to coordinate and oversee intricate initiatives that require seamless integration between multiple stakeholders. You'll collaborate with teams at various levels, ensuring that business and technology changes are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage high-risk implementations that involve coordination between internal and external parties to ensure safe and timely delivery.
  • Develop detailed sequences, plans, and prioritise integration tasks in collaboration with the Product Owner and Executive Leadership, aligning with the Lab backlog.
  • Coordinate integration processes across shared infrastructure, driving initiatives such as Mainframe upgrades.
  • Enable technology risk and control improvements by working closely with Lab teams to deliver outputs aligned with agreed sprint plans.
  • Proactively monitor and troubleshoot any technical issues, collaborating with Feature Team colleagues to remove blockers.
  • Manage dependencies between your Lab and other teams to maintain smooth operations.
  • Support governance activities, providing valuable insights to the Product Owner for changes across multiple labs.
  • Act as the interface between suppliers and key business stakeholders, which may involve occasional travel.

Critical Skills & Experience:

  • Agile Methodology & Tools: Expertise in managing complex change and fostering enthusiasm around agile practises. Experience in establishing and coaching agile teams.
  • Managing Key Relationships: Proven track record of developing strong relationships to build consensus, while adeptly managing conflicting priorities through effective communication negotiation and Stakeholder Management.
  • Planning, Tracking, Reporting & Governance: Strong ability to communicate regular status updates, manage critical risks/issues, and ensure timely resolution of high-priority matters.
